Dr. Kevin Leman

Internationally known Christian psychologist, Dr. Kevin Leman, is an award winning author, radio and television personality, and speaker. He has taught and entertained audiences worldwide with his wit and common sense psychology.

As the father of five, Kevin brings practical and down-to-earth principles into his parenting advice with a biblical perspective. And as his children have grown, the topics he's tackled have matured with his family. In his 25 published books, Kevin has addressed topics ranging from disciplining toddlers and adolescents to people pleasing and intimacy in marriage.

Dr. Leman is the founder and president of Couples of Promise, an organization designed and committed to helping couples remain happily married. He is also the founder of MatchWise.com, a Christian online dating service.

The best-selling "relationship doctor" has made house calls for numerous radio and television programs including Oprah, The Early Show on CBS, Live with Regis and Kelly, Today, The View, and Focus on the Family with Dr. James Dobson. Dr. Leman is also a frequent contributor to CNN's American Morning and he has served as a consulting family psychologist to Good Morning America.

Dr. Leman's professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association, American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, National Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology, and the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.

His books include The Birth Order Book: Why You Are the Way You Are, Bringing Up Kids without Tearing Them Down, Keeping Your Family Together When the World is Falling Apart and Measuring Up.

Dr. Leman received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, where he later earned his Master's and Doctorate degrees. Originally from Williamsville, New York, he and his wife, Sande, live in Tucson. They have five children.
