Voddie Baucham


voddie bauchamKnown as an "evangelist to intellectuals," Voddie Baucham is an author, Bible teacher, and apologist. Having served on several church staffs, he is currently an elder at Grace Community Church in Magnolia, Texas. His unique blend of sound biblical exposition and cutting-edge relevance make him one of the most unique and compelling voices in modern evangelical circles. He has rapidly become one of the most sought-after teachers of his generation.

Hearing the gospel for the first time as a freshman in college, Voddie accepted Christ and later responded to God’s call on his life to enter the gospel ministry. As a result, he left Rice University his senior year to pursue theological training at Houston Baptist University, where he received a B.A. in Christianity and Sociology. Voddie has a Master’s degree from Southwestern Seminary, and a Doctorate from Southeastern Seminary.

Along with serving at Grace Community Church, Voddie is an adjunct professor at The College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas, and Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He is the author of Ever-Loving Truth:Can Faith Survive in a Post-Christian Culture? as well as various articles in academic journals and magazines.

Voddie is a speaker at national conferences and events across the country. These events include Fusion and Leadnow conferences, which are created by Rightnow, a division of Bluefish TV.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Voddie now lives with his wife Bridget and their three children in Spring, Texas.
