MissionValues & HistoryDoctrinal Statement

Bluefish TV is a non-denominational ministry that supports thousands of church leaders and volunteers by creating videos to help them teach in both a church wide and small group setting. Through cutting edge, relevant video based Bible studies and video illustrations we tee up the pressing issues of today in a way that allows leaders to communicate a message that fits their churches needs. Bluefish TV holds the following Biblical doctrines:

1. We believe in the verbal inspiration, inerrancy, and authority of the Scriptures. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20)
2. We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God but voluntarily fell from his sinless state with the result that all men are sinners and hopelessly sinful in themselves apart from the grace of God. (Genesis 1:27; 9:6; Romans 5:12, 3:23; Ephesians 2:1)
3. We believe the Godhead exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and these three are one God.
4. We believe the eternal Son of God became incarnate in the Lord Jesus Christ, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary, and is both true God and true man apart from sin. (John 1:1, 14, 18; Matthew 1:21-23; 1 John 5:20)
5. We believe salvation is received by grace alone through faith in the substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins and resurrection for our justification. (1 Peter 3:18; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 1:16)
6. We believe that every true believer, born of the Spirit, can have full assurance of salvation and is eternally secure in Christ. (John 3:5-6; 1 John 5:12-13; John 10:38-29)
7. We believe that every believer is called to a holy life of service and should belong to a Bible-believing local church for fellowship and for the furtherance of the gospel to every creature at home and around the world. (1 Peter 1:15-16; Matthew 28:19-20; Hebrews 10:25: Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15)
8. We believe in the imminent return of the Lord which is the blessed hope of the church, to be followed by the tribulation and second coming of Christ, to rule and reign for one thousand years. (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 4:13-18; 5:4-10; Matthew 24:21, 29-30; 25:31)
9. We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (Revelation 20:1-6; Matthew 25:46)
