Chip's Bio
Chip Ingram is the Founder and Teaching Pastor for Living on the Edge,an international ministry that provides guided pathways to authenticdiscipleship. His passion is to help everyday Christians actually “livelike Christians” by raising the bar of discipleship. He has a uniqueability to communicate truth and winsomely challenge people to live outtheir faith.
Chip spent 20 years as a pastor of growing churches in Texas andCalifornia. Prior to launching Living on the Edge he spent 5 years asPresident of Walk Thru the Bible. Chip holds an M.S. degree from WestVirginia University and a Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Chip is author of 9 books, including Good to Great in God’s Eyes,Effective Parenting in a Defective World, God: As He Longs For You toSee Him, Holy Ambition, and Love, Sex and Lasting Relationships. Histeaching can be heard on hundreds of radio stations world-wide,multiple television outlets, and on the internet. Chip and his wife,Theresa, have four adult children and six grandchildren.
